Our Little Gymnast!

This is Ashlyn (farthest right, yellow shirt) debuting in her first gymnastics class, I can't say she's a gymnast just yet, but who knows the Olympics may still be in her future:) This was a very basic gymnastics class at our community center, which is just about all Ashlyn needed at this point anyway. It was fun to watch her, and she seemed to be enjoying herself even though she has yet to do a cartwheel, I was impressed they even thought she could learn how, I never could do a cartwheel:)

Ms. Kelly taught them all kinds of things, the most important being how to walk on a balance beam. There was a lot of teacher guidance, but Ashlyn is very proud of the fact that she can do a back-bend and a somersault. Preston might have even learned something from watching Ashlyn. Basically its her first organized instruction since her traumatic experience swim lessons, so of course she loved it. No bribing, threatening, or crying through this one!
