Daddy finally had chance to take them climbing on the dirt, which was fortunate timing since the next day the dump trucks came and hauled the dirt away. Not my favorite part, they seem to save the noisy work for naptime!
Preston was pretty excited since he watches them everyday, its the perfect view from our front window, so he checks their status every day and lets us know if the "big trucks" are moving dirt today. Now they've brought in the bulldozer and backhoe and he can hardly believe he has a front row seat to all the action. One morning we walked over for a closer look at the back hoe moving dirt into another huge pile, it was so cute watching him. Preston could have probably watched them all day.

As you can see in comparison to the houses in the background the dirt was piled up pretty high, they had quite a climb to make it up. Even Henna showed off her skills as she scaled right up that hill. You can see how far down on the other side as Kendall actually took them down into the ditch that had been dug out for the basement of the house. It started getting dark so most of my pictures didn't turn out, but I had to share the highlight of the neighborhood, DIRT!

That's the funnest thing about little boys. Watching them watch big tractors at work. Priceless. I can just picture cute little Preston - who isn't little anymore!
I was hoping this was going to be pictures of a new baby! (you, too, I bet) ;)
