Garrett Walker & Rex Bell

Garrett is about 3 months old, Rex is almost a month old we waited for Rex to arrive so we could have them blessed the same day and family could all come at once. It was also Cora's birthday weekend
so we had all kinds of fun. We went to our church service Sunday morning for Garrett's blessing, stopped by the house for lunch and all headed down to Blue Springs to Nick and Colton's church service.
Grandma Walker made Garrett's blessing outfit especially for him. She's made Ashlyn's and Preston's blessing outfits also; however, she didn't want them to have to share, so she made Garrett one too!

In our church babies are traditionally blessed by their fathers during a Sunday service in which men holding the priesthood place their hands on the baby while the father guided by the Holy Spirit gives a blessing. It's a very special occasion which brings all the family together for a momentous weekend! Everyone came from the Bell side of the family, even Grandpa Bell all the way from Utah.
