The Bell girls (Mooma, Shannon, Gma Weekes, Michelle, Cassie & Garrett) finally decided to just do it and plan a weekend where we could spend time together while taking a break from our duties:) I must point out that this girls weekend was meant for all Bell girls, including Natalie and Colton, but they couldn't come. It would have been a ton of fun if they had joined us, and we tried to convince them of what they were missing, but the fun must go on!
You might notice that Garrett slipped in on this weekend, even though he is not a girl; however, since he is still nursing, he's never away from mommy:) Considering that being with my sisters is like having "4" moms, it was still a break for me. He was truly spoiled all weekend with lots of attention. Love the picture of him with my Sister Shannon below, he's growing up so fast and already 7 months old!
We started off the weekend by enjoying a Luau performed by our cousins the Tauais, hence the lei's were sporting it all the pictures. It was lots of fun, and tons of food as you can see in picture above. All the family serves and performs for a great night of Samoan fun! I had actually never been to one of their luaus before, so this was a special treat and a great way to kick off our weekend!
All of the Tauai's participate in the show, from the youngest to the oldest. If you look closely you can see all the girls doing their dance. It's pretty exciting, the music is fast, their always yelling something in Samoan along with their dances. It's a pretty intense show, even a bit much for Garrett at times.
Keep in mind this was just the beginning of our weekend, we've got big plans to go to Branson after the Luau, stay in the condominums, eat and shop as much as we can! Unfortunately we didn't get pictures of any of that fun stuff, but spent lots of money, had tons of fun and made great memories over the past two days.
Can't wait to do it again:)
