We'll All Be Home for Christmas!

We're doing pretty good about keeping our Bell Family photo updated, we really have no choice but to update it every year since the grandkids just keep coming, its almost out of date as soon as it gets taken:)

This year we headed to Grandma Bells house on Christmas Day, to meet up with all of Michelle's family.  Luckily, all of her siblings and their families were able to meet us there.  Unluckily, we had to travel through the great snow storm of 2009 to get there, the snow turned a 3 hour drive into a 5 hour drive.

 It's always fun when we all squeeze into my mom's house, we've truly out grown her space, and she's got a lot of extra space.  We love her new tradition of taking everyone out to breakfast at a Shoney's buffet for our birthdays. It gets her off the hook for having to keep track of everyone's birthdays all year, but we get free food, so we'll let her take the easy way out:)  (top, left) Ashlyn just opened her new dog that walks on its own. Good times, great memories and fun with family!  All the cousins choose names and exchange gifts among themselves, then the adults do the same.  Some people are definitely easier to shop for then others! Of course, everyone buys Mooma (Grandma Bell's nickname) gifts, because they just can't resist showering her with presents.  This year I had each grandchild make a stepping stone for her flower garden with their handprints and age engraved.  My gift was the one that made her cry, its always a "competition" to see who can get Mooma to cry with their sentimental Christmas surprises.
